Students will be able to order Subway and pizza for lunch this week. On Thursday the students can choose between a 6 inch turkey or ham sub. On Friday they can choose between cheese and pepperoni pizza. Subs are $3.00 and a piece of pizza is $1.50. There is chocolate or white milk for sale everyday for $0.50. Students should bring money to their classroom and place the order with their teacher. Parents are welcome to send in cash or a check made out to Hillsdale Prep to start a lunch account. Students who do not want to order still need to bring a packed lunch.
Hillsdale Prep wants to thank you for your patience today during dismissal. We understand that the process took longer than in the past and we appreciate all parents following the flow of traffic and remaining in your cars.
As a reminder, dismissal begins at 3:15pm. We do ask that cars do NOT begin lining up in the parking lot until 3:10. This will help keep traffic out of the road.
Also, dismissal runs from 3:15 until 3:45, so If you are able to come later during that timeframe, it will help with the flow of traffic and allow the process to move faster.

The front driveway at Hillsdale Preparatory School will be closed through the end of August due to construction. All traffic will be directed to the back parking lot during the closure and all students, staff and guests will enter the building through the rear entrance.
Specific plans for student drop off and pick up will be discussed at Open House on Monday 8/22 at 6pm.
Hillsdale Preparatory School's after school clubs run off of the time donated by volunteers. The hope is to offer clubs again this year 5 days a week. We are looking for parents and community members who are willing to volunteer their time to oversee after school clubs. We are working hard to prepare for the 22-23 school year. We have mailed a back to school packet to all families that includes updates from Mrs. Fowler, a letter from the teacher, classroom supply lists and a copy of the dress code. These items are also available on our website Hillsdaleprep.org along with the school calendar and student handbook. The Open House is Monday, August 22 at 6:00pm and the first day of school is Tuesday, August 23. We are looking forward to another great school year at HPS. Just a reminder tomorrow is the last day of school. We will have an awards ceremony that beings at 11:00 in the gym. ISD buses will be in the parking lot until 10:45. Please do not arrive prior to that. If you do not attend the awards ceremony dismissal will be at 12:00. Families that wish to stay can join us back in the gym for hot dogs and chips. We are looking forward to celebrating a great school year!
Just a reminder there is no after school this week. All students need to be picked up at regular dismissal time which starts at 3:15.
Good evening, I hope all is well. For tomorrow’s field trip a packed lunch is required. The students can wear pants or shorts and a Hillsdale Prep performance wear shirt or red polo. We are leaving shortly after opening.

IMPORTANT LAST DAY INFO - The last day of school is Wednesday, June 8 and it is a half day of school. We will have an end of year awards ceremony beginning at 11 in the gym followed by a cookout. After the awards ceremony students will be sent back to their classroom where they will be dismissed. Families that wish to stay can join us back in the gym for lunch. If you are not attending the awards ceremony dismissal will be at 12:00.

Parent Council is throwing an End of School Year Dance on Friday, May 20 from 6:00-8:00pm. All students are bringing home a flyer today. If you wish to attend please return the bottom portion of the flyer along with payment. We are excited to celebrate as we approach the end of the school year.
Save The Date - Kindergarten and 8th grade graduation will be held on Tuesday, June 7 at 6:30. More details will be sent out soon.

We are hosting a Family Engineering Night on Thursday, May 5 from 5:30-7:00. This event is put on by the Michigan State University Extension Office. Families should arrived at 5:30 and plan to stay for the duration of the event. Attached to the flyer going home with students today is a registration form. If you wish to attend please fill out the form and return it to the office by April 28.
