Dear Patriot Parents,
Welcome to the 2022-23 school year! Hillsdale Preparatory School is excited for the things we have in store for the new year. The schoolwide theme for this year will be “RISE and CLIMB”. This theme will focus on rising back up after the pandemic and climbing to new heights. Setting goals and pushing through challenges to reach new achievements will be the central ideas that you will see around the school.
Enclosed you will find a letter from your child(ren)’s teacher and supply lists for the upcoming school year. Also included is a copy of the dress code. Please ensure that all of your child’s uniform pieces meet the dress code, as it will be strictly enforced this year. The clothes closet is open during office hours for families to purchase uniform items for $1 per item.
To best meet the needs of students and to adjust to increasing enrollment, there will be some staff members shifting into new assignments, as well as the addition of brand new staff members. Please see staff assignments and contact information for the 2022-23 school year below.

Programs and Services
Hillsdale Preparatory School will once again be hosting staff and students from the Hillsdale County Intermediate School District’s MoCI and ASD classrooms. We are excited to continue this partnership and welcome these students into our classrooms and school community.
Art and Physical Education will be offered to all students twice per week this year. An attempt was made to add Music back into the schedule. However, no one applied for this position. We will continue this search for a great candidate and will begin music classes later in the year, should one become available.
Hillsdale Preparatory School will once again offer daily clubs after school for the 2022-23 school year. Please look for sign up information in your back to school packet at open house. Clubs are run by staff, parents and community members on a volunteer basis. If you, or someone you know is interested in running a club, please contact Mrs. Fowler.
Upcoming Dates
Open House will be held on Monday August 22nd at 6:00pm. All students and parents should report to the gymnasium at this time for staff introductions. Following introductions, students will go with their teacher to the classroom to explore while parents stay in the gymnasium for a brief parent meeting led by Mrs. Fowler. This is a great opportunity for your child(ren) to meet their new teacher, see their classroom and drop off school supplies.
